In the summer of 2011 for the cost of 1000$, KCFA Board Members attended a 2 day professional workshop given by the Hawaii Alliance of Nonprofit Organization (HANO). We wanted to assure that the KCFA would work at its highest level. Although some information did not apply specifically to the KCFA at that time, we assume this document represents the Best Practices for a Nonprofit Board such as ours.
