Board Meeting Minutes

The first meeting of the new 2008 Board of Directors was called to order at 3:45pm immediately following the Annual Meeting, at which new Directors were elected.
Present were: Remaining Directors Bruce Corker, John McClure, Colehour Bondera, Sandra Scarr and Suzanne Kustusch. 2007 Directors voted in again for 2008 Mary Lou Moss, Joanie Rowe and Nancy Griffith and new Directors Deb Sims, Sandy Masterson and Kathy Wood. The Board now consists of eleven Directors.
The only item of business was the election of the Officers.
Nominations for President were opened. Bruce Corker was nominated and seconded. There being no other nominations, nominations were closed and Bruce was elected President by unanimous vote.
Nominations for Vice-President were opened. John McClure was nominated and seconded. There being no other nominations, nominations were closed and John was elected Vice-President by unanimous vote.
Nominations for Secretary were opened. Suzanne Kustusch was nominated and seconded. Nancy Griffith suggested hiring a Recorder for the Board Meetings to allow Suzanne to fully participate in the Meetings, instead of taking notes. It was discussed and decided that another person to take notes was not necessary. There being no other nominations. Nominations were closed and Suzanne was elected Secretary by unanimous vote.
Nominations for Treasurer were opened. Deb Sims was nominated and seconded. There being no other nominations, nominations were closed and Deb was elected Treasurer by unanimous vote.
Meeting was adjourned at 4:00pm, and the election results were announced to members who remained after the Annual Meeting.
Next Meeting of the Board of Directors is January 16, 2008 at 4:00 pm at CTAHR in Kainaliu Hawaii.
