Free workshop with Colombian CBB expert Luis Aristizabal!
Luis Aristizabal is coming back to Kona. In 2012, he revolutionized the way we look at our fields. Now, he’s here to talk on how to better control CBB through effective harvesting, and next-level methods of IPM. Colombia manages infestation levels of under 3 percent. How can we achieve that level here in Hawaii?
Saturday September 19, 2015

afterwards – 1 pm-3 pm talk story and questions at Greenwell Farms
Luis Aristizabal was raised on a Colombian coffee farm and worked for Cenicafe as a researcher and extension agent with coffee farmers in Colombia. He is now an entomologist at the University of Florida. In 2012, he brought us the 30 Trees method and is here again to offer us additional help. His focus is on practical research that benefits farmers in economically feasible ways.
