For your information and review, below is a copy of an email and attachments (ed. note: at bottom of page) we received this week from Clayton Nagata of the Hawaii Department of Agriculture with information on the Coffee Berry Borer (CBB) green coffee quarantine for Kona.

Hi Bruce,
Attached are all of the information I have up to now. The first document is for the fumigation treatments being done at Kona Trans. The other attachments are required permit conditions for inter-island shipments.
Customers on the outer islands must get a permit to receive coffee beans from the Big Island. I have attached an application form which must be filled out and sent to Leslie Iseke on Oahu. The address is on the applications and there is no charge for the permit and it is good for multiple shipments within a year.
